PERTH

The Perth All Scotland Accordion and Fiddle Festival will take place on Saturday at the Salutation Hotel.

A ceilidh will also be held at the same venue to open the festival on Friday.

All day tickets are priced at £8.50.

SCONE

Scone Seniors Club will meet for afternoon tea at the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute on Wednesday at 2.15pm.

Musical entertainm­ent to be provided by Michael Ellacott.

PITLOCHRY

The audience will be able to sit mainstage with the performers at a staging of The Macbeths at Pitlochry Festival Theatre on Thursday.

Two performanc­es, one at 2pm and another at 7.30pm, will take place that day.

PERTH

Perth Friends of Bydgoszcz, a town twinning group, are marking the centenary of the restoratio­n of Polish sovereignt­y with a recital of Polish music.

Anna Dbowska, a professor from Krakow Conservato­ire of Music, will play music by Chopin, Paderewski, Szymanowsk­i and Liszt in St John’s Kirk, Perth, on November 14 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £10, with concession­s at £8, and children under 12 are allowed in free. They can be bought from Willows Coffee Shop in St John’s Place or from Touch of Poland in South Methven Street.

SCONE

Scone Carpet Bowls Club will host a bowling event every Tuesday night from 7pm.

It will be held at the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute. Each event will cost £4. All are welcome.

PERTH

The next meeting of the Inner Link 3 Club of Perth will take place tomorrow.

It will be held at the Salutation Hotel at 10am.
