PERTH

The next meeting of the Inner Link Perth will be held on November 14, at the Queen’s Hotel, starting at 10am.

FLOWERS

Perth and District Chrysanthe­mum and Dahlia Society’s late season flower show will be held on Sunday.

Admission is free for the event at the Bridge of Earn Institute.

Exhibits from across Scotland will be on show from 10am until 4pm.

All welcome.

TALK

A free seminar about climate change will be held in Perth at the weekend.

Speakers will be Professor Maggie Gill of Aberdeen University, MSP Roseanna Cunningham and Hazel MacIver of the Tearfund charity.

The talk will be held at Perth Baptist Church from 9.30am until noon, including a question and answer session at 11.

SCONE

The next meeting of Scone and District 50+ Group is on Wednesday November 21 in the Robert Douglas Memorial Hall.

Rhona Campbell from Action on Hearing Loss will give a presentati­on.

Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start.

New members are welcome for a £5 annual subscripti­on.

AUCHTERARD­ER A Christmas-themed coffee morning and fair will be held at the Community School of Auchterard­er on Saturday December 8.

Tickets cost £2.50 for adults and 50p for children, which includes refreshmen­ts and cake.

It will be held in the assembly hall from 9.30am until noon.

ERROL

A bingo tea will be held in Errol on Thursday November 15.

Eyes down is at 7.30pm in the Masonic Lounge, High Street.

SCONE

Scone and District Historical Society will meet on Monday November 12.

The speaker will by Syd House, co-author of The Tree Collector.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm in Scone Old Church Hall.
