The Atholl and Breadalban­e ploughing match was held at Grandtully Farm and the winners in the convention­al class were: throw out – Bobby McLeod, ploughing – Ally Robb, finish – Bobby McLeod, feering, straightes­t rig and ins and outs – Tommy Campbell.

Best work done by a non-medal winner in the convention­al class – Bobby McLeod. Reversible Class: throw out – Billy Henderson, feering – Gordon Sinclair, ploughing – Jonathan Marshall, finish – Jonathan Marshall, straightes­t rig and ins and outs – Mike Henderson.

Best work done by a non-medal in the reversible class – Jonathan Marshall. Best work done by a Ford tractor and best overall finish – Bobby McLeod. Best kept tractor (older section) – Ally Brown, (newer section) – Martin Kennedy.

Meanwhile the Kirriemuir Ploughing Associatio­n held its match at East Mains of Whitewell, Finavon. Overall champion was Jock Sivewright and reserve champion was Keith Lyall.
