Perth man admits drug charge

-

Sentence was deferred at court on a man who admits supplying drugs.

Nathan Guthrie, 34, of St Catherine’s Road, Perth, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday and pled guilty to a charge that between March 31 and April 24 last year he was concerned in the supply of diamorphine (heroin) – a class ‘A’ drug – at an address in St Catherine’s Road.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis agreed to a request from the Crown to forfeit two sets of scales, a mobile phone and a wallet containing £465 in cash.

Sentence was deferred to allow liaison between the Crown and Guthrie’s solicitor to discuss an agreed narration of events.

Meanwhile, Valerie McCulloch, 44, of Pomarium Street and Bradley Davidson, 53, of South William Street, both Perth, will stand trial at court on January 17.

Both deny a charge that between June 11 and 12 last year, at an address in Perth, they assaulted a teenager by seizing her by the arm, repeatedly punching her on the face and body and kicking her on the face.

Barry Finlay, 46, care of Culley and McAlpine solicitors, was given a community payback order for 12 months.

He admitted stealing £200 from Ladbroke Racing, King Edward Street, Perth, on May 31.

The court heard that Finlay had been caught stealing on CCTV.
