FLOWER FESTIVAL Floral displays designed by young people will be on show at St Matthew’s Church this weekend.

The flower festival includes exhibits from the church’s Sunday school as well as local Brownies, Scouts, Cubs and Guides.

It will be held from 10am until 4pm on Saturday and noon until 4pm on Sunday.

Home baking, tea and coffee will be available.

PERTH

The next meeting of the Inner Link Club of Perth will be held on November 28 at the Grampian Hotel, starting at 10am.

COFFEE MORNING

The Fellowship Club of St John’s Kirk in Perth is hosting a coffee morning.

The event in the St John’s Place church runs from 10am until 11.30am, with stalls as well as refreshmen­ts. Tickets cost £2.50 and are available at the door.

SCONE

A Christmas-themed bingo tea will be held at the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute on Friday December 7.

The event, organised to raise money for the institute, starts at 7.30pm.

MARKET

The popular Perthshire Creates annual Christmas design market returns to Perth this weekend.

More than 40 local crafters, including jewellers, glass artists, printmaker­s, textile artists, painters, ceramicist­s, yarn makers and woodworker­s, will be selling their wares in the Civic Hall from 10am until 4.30pm tomorrow and Sunday.

Entry is free and the first 20 visitors on each day will win a gift bag with goodies and vouchers donated by stallholde­rs.
