CARNBO. President Jay Hutchison welcomed members and guests. Glen Douglas and Roy Gilmour of Kinross Men’s Shed gave a talk on the organisation. Competitions: flower of the month – Sandra Turnbull; piece of iced sponge – Susan Malcolm.
STRATHALLAN. President Janet McConnell introduced Jay Hutcheson from the Kinross Federation and she demonstrated needle felting. Competitions: EB Dalgleish Quaich (three custard creams) – J Mcconnell; knitted adult woolly hat – 1 S Gray, 2 J Shanks.
FOWLIS WESTER. Members met at Bennybeg where Sue Gaden, from Crieff Ceramics, gave a demonstration.
MURTHLY. President Gaye Sissons welcomed everyone. Alistair Chalmers gave a talk on Branklyn Garden. Competitions: Jenny Dow Memorial Bowl (flip flop mitts) – Christine Lord; pot plant – Muriel Graham; flower of the month – Christine Lord.
MEIGLE. Catherine Ritchie welcomed Betty Marshall who gave a risotto cookery demonstration. Competitions: flower of the month – 1 K Scott,
2 S Liston; scones – 1 K Scott, 2 C Ritchie, 3 S Liston.
PITCAIRNGREEN. Audrey Michie introduced Ali McKay from the British Heart Foundation and he told his story from being born with a heart defect to receiving a heart transplant. Competitions: three heart-shaped biscuits – 1 I Stewart, 2 H Coventry, 3 A Michie; fancy egg cup – 1 H Coventry, 2 A Michie, 3 L Macnamara.
METHVEN. Betty Pearson cut the cake and members enjoyed a meal at the Methven Arms Hotel to celebrate

EARLSFERRY and ELIE. President Monica Stewart welcomed members to the AGM. Two members from Kilconquhar and Colinsburgh were tellers. Annual prizewinners, most points over the year – 1 I Murray, 2 D Smith, 3 R Wilson; flower of the month – 1 I Murray, 2 R Wilson, 3 D Smith. New committee – Eleanor Black, Joyce Leitch and Deirdre Smith. GATESIDE. President Agnes Allan welcomed members to the AGM. The tellers were Barbara Aitchison, Janette McAffery and Valerie McKinnon from Auchtermuchty. Barbara showed a film on Peru. Jean Carr presided at the AGM. Kilrenny members were tellers. They also entertained with a quiz, poetry and a display of craft work.
