Crossgates home again as they host derby rivals

-

Premier Division

Crossgates Primrose welcome neighbours Hill of Be a thin what promises to be a tight affair in what is their fifth consecutive home game.

After losing their first two league games, Primrose have won their last two games against Mussleburgh and Blackburn.

Last week Haws reached the first round of the Scottish cup with a win at Threave Rovers, earning them a trip to Gretna 2008. For the derby clash boss Kevin Fotheringham is without Stuart Hall, Rikki Dair, Steven Peggie and Lyle Kellichan.

Dundonald Bluebell have had a mixed bag of results in their three league games but will hope to post a second league win at home to Sauchie.

The visitors have taken just one point from their four games.

However, keeper James Lennox is unavailable, whilst defenders Craig Wedderburn and Colin Wilson Wilson are both injured.

Conference A

After their Alex Jack Cup win at Arniston last week, Kinnoull return to league business at home to St Andrews, looking to maintain their perfect start with a sixth straight win in Conference A.

Tulloch Park gaffer Alan Cameron hopes to add a couple of new faces.

St Andrews will look to improve on a record of only one win in seven outings.

In the same division, there is a vital bottom-of-the-table clash at Recreation Park where Burntisland Shipyard host Ormiston. Neither side has won in the league, so both will be looking to get three points on the board.

Unlucky to lose last week at Haddington, Shipyard be hoping that the scorer in their 2-1 defeat, Jason Finlay, has recovered after limping off late in the game last week.

The other match in that division sees Oakley head to Peebles Rovers. The Fife outfit will be without injured pair Martin and Halpin, while Macaulay is suspended.

Conference B

Glenrothes go to Hawick and with both sides sitting on seven points there seems little to pick between the sides.

Glens gave debuts to new signings Jordan Lamont, on loan from East Fife, and Scott Powrie, signed from Oakley United, in last week’s 2-1 defeat at Edinburgh United in the Alex Jack Cup.

They are in the squad for the trip to the Borders, but one man missing from last week is Charlie Denton after being redcarded.

Inverkeithing HS host Preston Athletic.

The Fifers are second in the table with the visitors third, three points behind but with a game in hand.

Swifts will monitor the fitness of Euan Miller, who broke down in the pre-match warm-up last week after returning to the squad following eight weeks out.
