-

Grove Menzieshill sit equal on points with the students after handing out six of the best to newcomers Merlins Gordonians.

Set-pieces from Sam Sangster bookended the scoring with Katie Stott (2), Lucy Murray and Lauren Kingston also making their mark before Molly Cuthbertson fired in a late consolation.

Cats dropped down to sixth in the table. The post came to the rescue in three great efforts from Becky Ward as their luck ran out in a frustrating scoreless draw with GHK on Sunday.
