Monarchs hold league leaders
Monarchs gave it their best shot against National Indoor League Division 2 leaders Watsonians but had to settle for a 3-3 draw.
The result benefited Kelburne and Menzieshill III but not Monarchs.
Despite their 11-3 win over bottom club Stepps in the first match of the day, the pressure was on Watsonians in their third match against second placed Kelburne, resulting in a 4-3 draw.
Menzieshill II won both games against teams in the bottom three, 8-6 against Inverleith II and 9-2 against Stepps.
Watsonians still head the table with two games remaining, but are only two points ahead of Kelburne and three ahead of Menzieshill II, both of whom have three games to play.
Perthshire recorded two more victories to retain a sizable lead at the top of Division 3.
Neil Robertson was top scorer with seven against Harris while Adam (2) and Michal Czub chipped in respectively for a 10-2 win.
Robertson was again top scorer against Watsonians II with four.
Andrew Clark (2), Scott Turkington, Kerr Thomson and Adam Czub claimed the others.
Menzieshill III are 10 points behind Perthshire with only two games to play.
A 5-2 win over Uddingston II would have helped to keep them in touch with Perthshire had they not lost 7-5 to Watsonians II and 4-0 to Western Wildcats II.
Harris remain at the foot of the table, having lost 7-3 to Wanderers II, but they could move above Glasgow University, also on five points, with three games remaining.
Wanderers II gained a creditable 2-2 draw with Watsonians II.
They are third from bottom but are eight points clear of Harris.
