Experts brought in by Angus Council to examine the bid for the former Presentation Products factory site say the plan could have “significant, long-term consequences” for Arbroath town centre. Lidl, Asda and Co-op have raised objections to the proposal for the site, which is set to attract big names such as by Aldi, B&M Home Stores and Iceland. Consultants now suggest the town centre impact would be greater than initially suggested.
