Heifer with heifer calf (10) sold to £3,200 for a British Blue from East Mains of Carseburn. Cow with bull calf (five) sold to £1,300 (twice) firstly for a Limousin cross and finally for a Hereford cross both from North Chapelhous­es, Oldmeldrum.

Cow with heifer calf (two) sold to £2,400 for a Limousin cross from East Mains of Carseburn. In-calf heifers (615) sold to £4,300 for a Limousin cross from Edendiack, Gartly. Prime lambs (1,536) averaged 188.65p (+6.1p on the week and +21.6p on the year) and sold to 246p per kg for Beltex from RA Campbell & Son, Meikle Seggie, Milnathort, and £110 for 47kg Beltex from Harold Greer, Gelvan View, Fossoway.

SQQ lambs (874) averaged 192.4p per kg (+6p on the week).

Cast ewes and rams (671) averaged £107.31 for heavy ewes, which topped at £150 for a Texel from E Robertson, Skeoch, East Kilbride. Export ewes averaged £60.78 selling to £78 for Cheviots from JAC Stewart, Kininmonth, Ceres, and cast rams sold to £118 for a Texel from E Robertson, Skeoch.

SQQ 36.5kg to 45.5kg (170) averaged 185.1p (+4p) per kg. Feeding sheep (204) sold to £88 for a Cheviot ewe from Viewhill Croft, Easter Kinkell.
