FORFAR – Lawrie & Symington sold 21 prime cattle, two OTMs and 443 prime sheep and cast ewes and rams. Bullocks (4) averaged 242p and sold to a top of 253p per kg and £1,538.24 for a 608kg Limousin from Nethermyres.

Heifers (17) averaged 236p and sold to a top of 257p per kg for a 519kg Limousin from Nethermyres, and to £1,507.50 for a 670kg from Pityot.

New season lambs (378) averaged 197p (-5p on the week) and sold to a top of 246p per kg for a pair of 43 kg Texel cross from Kinclune and to £108 on three occasions for Texels from Newbarns.
