Buffalo boost
Congratulations to the Buffalo Farm near Kirkcaldy – it has recently won the title of Scotland’s Best Farm Shop & Deli in the Great British Food Awards 2020.
As well as visiting the farm shop, you can feed the buffalo (when they’re not in their winter quarters), the two emus, turkeys, chickens and cheeky pygmy goats as well. There’s also The Bothy cafe where you can tuck into a buffalo burger.

Delivering Christmas dinner
Inspired by her elderly parents who will be celebrating Christmas on their own, Stacey Marshall of East Neuk Cooks, just outside St Andrews, has created a menu that can be delivered to households across Fife on Christmas Eve.
The dishes are designed to be easy to reheat and include a choice of soup starters; a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, or a vegetarian mushroom and nut loaf alternative. Pudding choices comprise a traditional Christmas pudding or chocolate yule log.
The menu for one person costs £30 including delivery, and orders close on December 4. To order visit eastneukcooks. com or call 07969 208 497.
