Return to training just ideal for Kelty

Kelty Hearts are deep in preparatio­ns for the first leg of their promotion play-off next weekend against Highland League champions Brora Rangers.

The Fife side were permitted to return to contact training last weekend.

In the East of Scotland League Crossgates Primrose have announced the capture of experience­d forward Brian Ritchie from Bo’ness United.

Scott Gilfillan has made the move across Fife to Moorside Park from Rosyth to join Dundonald Bluebell and going in the opposite direction is Calum Strang.

Bluebell boss Kevin Fotheringh­am has added duo, Liam Craig and Jed Crowe to the list of players extending their stay at the club.

Lochore Welfare have pounced to bring former skipper Kearyn Hicks back to Central park from Hill of Beath as well has extending the contracts of Lewis and Peter Thomson.

Goalkeeper Ryan Linton has left Thornton Hibs due to work commitment­s after four-and-a-half years with the club. Linton made 59 appearance­s for Craig Gilbert’s men, keeping 22 clean sheets.

Kinnoull have swooped to bring two former players back to the club, full-back Darren Kelly and leftsided defender Fraser Wilson.

Kelly has been out of the game following a bad knee injury but, when manager Alan Cameron became aware of Kelly’s desire to return to football, he made sure that it was at Tulloch Park.

Cameron said: “His undoubted quality and experience will be valuable to the team for the upcoming season.”

Of Wilson, he added: “Fraser gives us natural balance down the left side. He has natural talent and a great left foot and I am thrilled he’s signed.”
