Funbox are back with a festive pyjama party!

-

An evening of fun with Kevin Macleod, Anya Scott-rodgers and, of course, Bonzo the Dog, is just the dose of family fun that children and their parents need this festive season.

According to Kevin, the Funbox trio, who used to form part of The Singing Kettle: “Our shows became a highlight for many families’ calendars. We always have a great time on stage in Tayside and Fife and can’t wait to return in November.

“This tour marks our proper return to the stage – we haven’t been able to tour or perform in theatres since March 1 2020.

“We can’t wait to get back out on the road and see all our fans and familiar faces again.” For 2021, the trio will treat their audiences to their ever-enduring blend of jokes, laughs and joy for all the family.

It’s important to Kevin that Funbox maintains the balance of traditional singalong songs and new compositions with a distinctly Scottish flavour, but with their own brand of modern manic humour and organised chaos.

At the heart of every show is the magical but mysterious Funbox, which contains everything audiences need to sing a song or have an adventure.

The Christmas shows are one of the highlights of the year for Anya Scott Rodgers: “We love visiting venues and entertaining families across Scotland and Christmas time is our favourite time to tour.

“We’re so looking forward to bringing festive cheer to families.”

This year, the theme is Santa’s Pyjama Party, with plenty of slapstick slumber party laughs on the menu.

SANTA’S PYJAMA PARTY DATES INCLUDE:

Whitehall Theatre, Dundee November 27 and 28

Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, December 3 to 5

Perth Concert Hall, December 30.
