Husband shaping up Dundonald squad

New Dundonald Bluebell boss Stephen Husband hasn’t wasted any time in adding to his squad.

Husband – who has named Callum Smith as assistant manager – has signed striker Daryl Healy, who has been at Berwick Rangers, East Kilbride and Gala Fairydean.

He is joined by fellow striker Regan Lumsden, who joins Bluebell from Rosyth and was the top scorer at The Fleet Grounds.

St Andrews boss Robbie Raeside has quickly put his stamp on the squad with a number of players released and transfer listed.

Defender Scott Reekie has signed a contract extension after joining from Edinburgh City last February and is joined in the squad by two signings of real quality in Graham Hay and Derryn Kesson.

Hay is a central defender who has a real wealth of experience with Dundee, Montrose, Formartine United, Lochee United and Broughty Athletic.

Kesson has played most of his career at Broughty but was on the books of SPFL side Peterhead for the last two seasons.

Conference B champions Oakley United have been shocked by the decision of manager Stewart Kenny to leave the club.

United have appointed last season’s Under-20s manager Peter Goldie as head coach and he is

joined by David Mathie, Garry Wright and Gary Hay.

Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts manager Grant Brough has taken the decision to take a step back due to other commitments and has been replaced by Pat Scullion.

Joining him will be Mark Leslie as assistant manager, Graham Miller as coach, John Coughlin in a coaching support role and Jamie Stephen as goalkeeping coach.

Ally Griffin goes into his first pre-season as Kennoway Star Hearts manager and has been boosted by both Jason Watson and Brooklyn Mair signing contract extensions at Treaton Park.

Griffin has also brought in winger Jordan Elliot from Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale.

Elliot began his career in Swansea City’s youth ranks before moving on to Kelty Hearts and East Fife.
