Middlesex eye HK talent
HONG Kong batsman Anshy Rath is on the verge of moving to county cricket with Middlesex keen to secure his services.
Rath, 19, has been part of the Middlesex age-group set-up for some time and has played for their 2nd XI and academy.
A Middlesex spokesperson confirmed to Cricinfo that the club were “extremely keen to secure his services”.
Rath has been in fine form for Hong Kong, registering his maiden List A century against the Netherlands and following it with an 88. He also registered his highest first-class score of 98 not out in the Intercontinental Cup against the Dutch.
