Bat you bought/used? A Gray-Nicolls Powerbow, it’s got an excellent pick-up and weight which is the main thing for me. Song you listened to? Ed Sheeran is massive at the moment so one of his, Castle On The Hill – everybody seems to love his new album! Five-wicket haul or century? I got a big century, 170, in the first U19 Test match in India in February which was massive for me. George Bartlett and I put on more than 300 together and there’s no better feeling than going out there and doing it for your country, a proud moment for us to share together. Injury? I haven’t had too many thankfully. When I was 15 I broke and disclocated my finger dropping a catch, but I’ve been quite fortunate since then! Trophy you won? Middlesex won the 2nd XI T20, winning the Finals Day at Arundel, adding to what was a massive season allround for the county.

Red for sure, it’s better for you apparently, what other reason do you need to drink alcohol? 50-over, T20 or County Championship? County Championship is the best for me, it’s the biggest test of anyone to be able to play in that longer format and it is traditional cricket. It’s my strongest area, too!
