Colly’s jolly at Durham stay

CAPTAIN Paul Collingwoo­d has told of his delight to have extended his stay with Durham.

The 41-year-old has signed on for another year and next summer will be embarking on his 22nd season with the county.

He said: “I am so proud to still be playing for my home county. I’ve proven that I still have a lot to offer and I feel my role at Durham is still important in helping develop the next generation.”
