Colly’s jolly at Durham stay

CAP­TAIN Paul Colling­wood has told of his de­light to have ex­tended his stay with Durham.

The 41-year-old has signed on for an­other year and next sum­mer will be em­bark­ing on his 22nd sea­son with the county.

He said: “I am so proud to still be play­ing for my home county. I’ve proven that I still have a lot to of­fer and I feel my role at Durham is still im­por­tant in help­ing de­velop the next gen­er­a­tion.”
