LET’S HOPE ZIMBABWE CAN THRIVE AGAIN

HOW nice to see Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis return to Zimbabwe this week, for their Test series against the West Indies.

International cricket is so much better when the best players actually play it. The revival of Zimbabwe, largely overlooked, has been one of international cricket’s most heartening stories of the year.

Let’s hope it continues: international cricket needs all the competitive teams it can get. It would be brilliant if Zimbabwe could become as competitive as in the late Ninetiess, when they toppled Pakistan and India in consecutive Test series.
