This lavish fantasy epic is Netflix’s latest heavilyhyped, teen-targeted series, based on Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s bestselling YA novel reimagining the Arthurian legend. The tale is told through the eyes of Nimue (Katherine Langford of 13 Reasons Why), a gifted young woman destined to become a powerful warrior. Arthur, Merlin, and Gawain all pop up, as does Peter Mullan as the villainous Father Carden. MH
