Edgar Wright’s infectious car-chase thriller, about a getaway-driving cutie-pie savant (Ansel Elgort, bringing a physical musicality to every onscreen task) whose every move behind the wheel is in Olympic-level sync with whichever song is pulsing through his iPod, will make you believe in magic. The editing is stunning and keeps the film a skip ahead of its forebears. Lily James, Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx join the dance party.
To whet appetites for the bi-annual Comic Relief telethon on Friday, Ramsay hosts a charity edition of his new game. Banter features heavily as Ramsay welcomes his fellow Road Trip passenger and sparring partner Gino D’Acampo to play the money-stacking quiz show alongside his 18-year-old son, Luciano.

This engrossing family saga has put Finland on the map as a Nordic noir player, even if it was written by Shaun of the Dead actress Kate Ashfield. Tonight’s first of a double bill builds tension as Mikko (Andrei Alén) discovers the identity of Tommi’s killer and an ugly family secret emerges. Meanwhile, Olivia (Leena Pöysti) has reason to fret over her daughters’ choice of boyfriends.
