Drinkall steps in for Oxford

Felix Drinkall, the junior world rowing champion, tops the newcomers list for this year’s Oxfordcamb­ridge Boat Race.

The 18-year-old takes the No 2 seat for Oxford, boasting success for Great Britain in the men’s four at the 2017 junior world championsh­ips.

Cambridge have the heavier boat and are the slender early favourites for the race on March 24.

The crews for the men’s and women’s races were revealed at London’s City Hall yesterday.
