Birthday cheer De Bruyne sets up 10th successive Cup victory

Kevin De Bruyne became the first Manchester City player to score a goal on his birthday since Nolito struck in the 1-1 draw against Everton in October 2016.

The 29-year-old’s goal set City on the way to a 10th successive FA Cup victory, matches that they have won by an aggregate score of 37-4.

City are only the third team to have won 10 consecutive Cup matches since the turn of the 20th century, after Aston Villa (10 between 1913 and 1914) and Chelsea (13 between 2009 and 2011).
