James Murphy, co-founder, Adam&EveDDB

The man behind some of the most legendary Christmas adverts – his Buster the boxer ad for John Lewis was one of the most shared of 2016, and he was also responsibl­e for H&M’s epic four-minute Christmas film, directed by Wes Anderson. Murphy’s career began in the post room of an ad agency and he rose through the ranks at Ogilvy and RKCR before starting Adam&Eve in 2008. Last year, he opened an office in New York to serve one of his newest clients, Samsung.
