The high street is often accused of encouraging waste. Where’s the recycling, you ask? Where’s t he longevity? H&M has introduced a ‘sustainability commitment’ to its stakeholders, and employs 200 people working to make the company‘ green er ’. The commitment is embodied in the brand’s Conscious collection, which includes a gown made from plastics salvaged from shoreline waste, and earrings created using recycled glass and plastic.
