It’s Glastonbury weekend, and the greater-spotted A-lister is flocking to Somerset

Following the logic that nobody in search of a good time would think to include theresa May in their plans, it was suggested by some political pundits last week that if the Prime Minister had held the general election during glastonbury, rather than a fortnight earlier, she might now be enjoying a strong and stable majority. As it is, the largest party in the UK is to be found for the 35th time at worthy Farm in Somerset this weekend. And just like in that election, those taking part are braced to expect the usual mix of mud-slinging, fancy dress candidates and delirious, late-night fumbles. it’s festival season, and about time too. —
