A huge amount of time, money and people go into hosting a royal wedding. Jessica Carpani breaks down the mind-boggling figures involved

600 invitation­s have been made by Barnard & Westwood. The service is at St George’s Chapel, followed by a reception at St George’s Hall, which is being hosted by the Queen. 200

Windsor Grey Horses will be pulling the Ascot Landau in which Harry and Meghan will be driven around Windsor after the wedding. Horses Milford Haven,

Sir Basil, Tyrone and Storm will be pulling the carriage, with Plymouth and Londonderr­y acting as the two outriders. In the event of rain, the couple will ride in a Scottish State Coach with a glass roof. 2

The distance in miles the couple will be driven along Castle Hill, the High Street and into Windsor town centre before returning along the Long Walk (pictured right) for their reception.
