8.30am Efimia sleeps in my bed on Friday nights, so it’s a very special morning on a Saturday when I wake up to her big smile. 9am We spend a very lazy breakfast time eating cinnamon buns from Fabrique Bakery. During lockdown, they shared the recipe and we tried to make them ourselves, but they never quite tasted the same. 10am We stay in our pyjamas lounging for as long as we can – I wear men’s cotton ones from Turnbull & Asser. I don’t like quickly jumping to get dressed, but when I eventually do, I usually wear a dress from my own collection, or leggings from my collaboration with Lululemon. 11.30am I’m an art lover, and I’m enjoying slowly educating Efimia too. Usually I take her to a gallery – the staff at the Serpentine treat us like family. We visit the gallery, then take a walk around the lake and to her favourite tree full of parakeets. 2pm Iliketo meet friends for lunch on the weekend; often it’s very last-minute. We meet up at Morito and share some dishes – the crispy aubergine dish is not so healthy, but totally delicious. 5pm Often we have friends over for dinner – my husband is an amazing barbecue chef and will cook using different woods to achieve different flavours. Even the butter in our house is smoked. 7pm Another real treat is going to our local theatre, Sadler’s Wells. Ideally we’d watch something by Pina Bausch, who is my favourite choreographer. The doors are closed still, sadly, but they have a wonderful digital stage interpretation, which you can watch on your computer. 1am I go to bed really late. I might speak to my family who live abroad and are in a different time zone, or read a book, or talk to Philip about a busy day and catch up on things we didn’t discuss while Efimia was awake. So there’s always something to do in the evening. If I’m having trouble relaxing, I switch on Headspace. It’s a meditation app and it helps me fall asleep really fast.
