On the trail of the preda­tors of north­ern Europe

All good things come to those who wait – es­pe­cially if those who wait can keep quiet. The forests of Kare­lia, along Fin­land’s Rus­sian bor­der, har­bour Europe’s great­est as­sem­blage of large preda­tors, in­clud­ing brown bears, wolves and the elu­sive wolver­ine.

Find­ing these re­tir­ing crea­tures by sim­ply wan­der­ing the forests is near im­pos­si­ble, but a col­lec­tion of in­no­va­tive view­ing hides – hid­den deep in the for­est and pro­vi­sioned
