THE PRIZE

One of many beautiful Scott Williams villas offered on Paxos, Koukouvaya is the newest and one of the most luxurious villas ever to be built on the island of Paxos. Sleeping up to 10 in five beautiful bedrooms, each with its own terrace, bright and airy living spaces are finished with boldly patterned fabrics in dark olive and coral tones, creating interiors blended to create a harmonious, luxurious and wonderfully elegant space. The house is topped by a tower featuring both a Jacuzzi bath and yoga platform, so guests can relax, stretch, enjoy sundowners or just watch the world go by from this gorgeous eyrie. Steps wind down from the main body of the house onto the spacious lower terrace, home to the large infinity pool, and a second yoga platform can be found amidst the trees. The views out to sea are striking from all areas.

Famed for its aquamarine blue seas, mass tourism has not reached Paxos, thanks in large to the lack of an international airport, with visitors required to catch a short boat transfer from nearby Corfu. With endless olive groves, warm waters and three small, but buzzing, towns, there’s plenty of activity and places to visit, with lots of tavernas and beach bars at which to enjoy fresh fish, homemade pasta and glorious salads in great surroundings. For a day out, nearby Anti Paxos is famed for its white sands and makes a popular trip by boat – just book lunch on the beach there and leave your boat bobbing just a few metres away. For cocktail lovers, the trendy Ben’s Bar, overlooking a beautiful beach and with decking and dancing at sunset, is the place to be seen.

The prize is for a winner and up to nine guests. The seven-night stay at Koukouvaya, villa rental only, is valid during 2019 and is subject to availability. Blackout dates apply. The prize must be booked by March 31 2019 and dates cannot be amended once booked. There is no cash alternative. The prize excludes flights, transfers to port and car hire.
