The next outpost of the ever-popular Pig group opens in May near Canterbury. The core of the property will be a 17thcentur­y Queen Anne manor house that was once a venue for parties and gigs and hosted the likes of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. But it’s one of the seven Hop Pickers’ Huts on stilts, located along the river in the grounds, that you’ll want to book. Each is made from reclaimed materials and has a double bedroom, bathroom and wood-fired stove. As with the other Pigs, there’ll be a kitchen garden that supplies the restaurant and a couple of treatment rooms.
