The prize-winner and their guest will experience a luxurious 12-night tour of India with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts worth more than £40,000. The winners will start their journey in the heart of India at The Oberoi, New Delhi, which reopened after a multi-million-dollar renovation in January 2018.

They will then continue their exploration of India, going on to stay at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts’ luxury properties The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur, The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur and The Oberoi, Mumbai. Winners will enjoy suite accommodation at all properties, while indulging in an array of unique Oberoi Experiences. The itinerary will include air tickets (international and domestic), sightseeing, food, soft drinks and Oberoi Experiences at each hotel.

THE PRIZE

The journey begins with a two-night stay at The Oberoi, New Delhi. The newly refurbished hotel is a long-time icon of the city, and has hosted everyone from royalty to rock royalty; The Beatles stayed here in 1966 when they came to India to study transcendental meditation (they went shopping for musical instruments in the city and bought sitars). While at the hotel, the winners will experience a private guided tour through the enchanting stories and the vast boulevards, pavilions and fountains of Sir Edward Lutyens’ New Delhi – a landscape which inspired the design of The Oberoi, New Delhi.

The next stop will be a two-night stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, the only hotel in Agra located just 600 metres from the world’s most exquisite testimony to undying love: the Taj Mahal. A specially prepared meal for two will be served by the winners’ personal butler under the stars and beside cascading water features in the gardens.

The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur is built around an 18th-century Shiva temple just outside the bustling ‘Pink City’, and it has all the romance of an old Rajasthani fort. During an unforgettable three-night stay here, prize-winners can experience the magnificent Naila Fort at sunset as they sip tea or cocktails and watch the sun go down.
