Corbyn’s coffee with Gerry Adams
JEREMY CORBYN, the Labour leadership contender, was pictured having coffee in Westminster yesterday with Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness.
The hard-Left MP met Mr Adams, who in the past has expressed support for the IRA, and Mr McGuinness, a former IRA commander, in Portcullis House, where MPs have offices.
The picture was posted on Twitter by Mr Adams with the caption “with Jeremy Corbyn and the comrades”. Earlier, Mr Adams and Mr McGuinness visited No10. Also pictured were Jayne Fisher, a Sinn Fein official, and the Sinn Fein politicians Mary Lou McDonald and Michelle Gildernew.
One former Tory minister said he found the photograph “very offensive”.
