Mill blast: staff safety claims investigated
Investigators are to examine whether staff were given proper safety training at Wood Flour Mills where four workers are feared dead after an explosion.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is to look at claims by staff at the mill in Bosley, near Macclesfield, Cheshire, that they did not receive induction or safety training.
It came as a second body was recovered from the wreckage in the village, where a 1,000C inferno reduced the four-storey building to rubble. Neither of the two bodies found has been formally identified.
