University sorry for anti-Semitism

A Jewish student has received an apology and payment of £1,000 from the University of York Students’ Union after complainin­g of anti-Semitism. Zachary Confino, 21, a law student, was offered the sum after two years of experienci­ng anti-Semitism from students while studying at the university. It is understood that Mr Confino had been racially abused and bullied.
