Corbyn out? Labour leader voted Brexit, claims Bryant

The Daily Telegraph - - News -

A Labour MP who resigned from the front bench on Sunday said he thought that Jeremy Corbyn secretly voted to leave the EU in the referendum.

Chris Bryant, who stepped down as shadow Commons leader, claimed that Mr Corbyn had refused to tell him how he had voted. He also told the BBC Mr Corbyn should step down as leader or he would “destroy the Labour Party”.

Responding to Mr Bryant’s voting claim, a spokesman for the Labour leader said: “It’s a ridiculous thing to suggest.

“Jeremy tweeted immediately after he voted that he voted to Remain, so the matter is already public.”
