Summer snow

Iain Cameron climbs through a snow tunnel on Britain’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis. Melting snow creates small streams in spring and summer, which in turn carve tunnels through the remaining drifts. “They are incredible things to see,” said Mr Cameron, a snow researcher.
