‘Pc’s sex killer may have eaten body parts’

- A

SADOMASOCHIST obsessed with Breaking Bad might have cooked and eaten parts of a police officer he had strangled, a court heard.

Stefano Brizzi is on trial at the Old Bailey accused of throttling Gordon Semple, a 59-year-old who he had met on gay dating app Grindr, and then attempting to dispose of the body in various ways, including in an acid bath.

DNA from the dead man was found on the blade of a blender, cooking pot, chopsticks, chopping board and grease in the oven of the 50-year-old Italian’s kitchen, the Old Bailey heard.

Investigators also found bite marks on a piece of bone recovered from the kitchen bin. Crispin Aylett QC, prosecuting, said: “[We] suggest it would be open to the jury to find that the defendant cooked part of his body and ate it.”

Jurors were earlier told that Brizzi was said to be “obsessed” with the American show Breaking Bad in which the main character, Walter White, attempts to have a drug dealer’s body dissolved in acid.

Brizzi denies murder, but has admitted obstructing a coroner by dismembering and disposing of the body.

Jurors heard that Pc Semple and Brizzi engaged in sexual conduct that involved Mr Semple having a leash put around his neck and it is claimed that the leash slipped and he stopped breathing.
