-

Choristers hone their flipping technique at Ely Cathedral, Cambs, before tonight’s Shrove Tuesday pancake race. The event sees around 20 contenders race down the church’s 82-yard nave after evensong. The cathedral has its origins in 672 when St Etheldreda built an abbey church.
