Second arrest after death of naval officer

A second man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a former Royal Navy officer was run down and killed by car thieves.

The suspect, 20, was detained yesterday by police hunting the killers of Mike Samwell, 35.

He had been chasing intruders from his £500,000 home in Chorlton, Manchester, who broke in while he and his wife Jess were asleep upstairs.
