Amazon tribes protest with bows and spears

Military police in Brazil have used tear gas in confrontations with thousands of indigenous protesters armed with spears and bows outside government buildings in Brasilia.

Latin America’s largest nation is home to numerous tribes, many of which live in the Amazon region. They have called for a week-long camp in front of the Congress building to highlight a long list of grievances.
