Lonely rhino joins dating app to save its species

The world’s last male northern white rhino has joined the Tinder dating app as part of a last-ditch breeding effort to save the species.

“I don’t mean to be too forward, but the fate of the species literally depends on me,” the profile for Sudan, 43, says. “I perform well under pressure.” The campaign, called “The Most Eligible Bachelor in the World” by Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Tinder, aims to raise £7 million to aid breeding programmes.
