SIR – May I add to Michael Deacon’s really important manifesto pledges (Comment, May 20)?

Punishment is required for car drivers who use their horns to wave at friends.

There should be a law against buses that don’t show numbers at the rear, meaning that you can’t tell which one you have just missed.

Also to be criminalised are highstreet premises that don’t display their property number. Bill Mccreath
