Four climbers die as Everest toll rises to 10

-

Nepali Sherpas have found four climbers dead in their tents on Mount Everest, taking the death toll on the world’s highest mountain to 10 in the past month.

A climbing blogger suggested they might have died of carbon monoxide poisoning by using their stoves in the tents without ventilation. They were found at Camp Four, at 8,000 metres (26,246 feet) above sea level. They have not been identified but it was reported that two of the dead were foreigners.
