Parents of sick baby may fight on

A couple who want to fly their sick baby son to the US for treatment could take their battle to the Supreme Court after losing in the Court of Appeal.

Chris Gard and Connie Yates want nine-monthold Charlie Gard to have trial therapy but a judge last month backed doctors who say life support should end.

The parents, from Bedfont, west London, failed to persuade Appeal Court judges to reject the ruling.
