Intertek sales boosted as firms seek testing help

Intertek, which tests and certifies products such as mining equipment and food, has grown revenues in the first four months of the year to £882.5m.

The company said it was on course to hit its 2017 targets after revenues rose 14.2pc, or 1.8pc with currency effects stripped out.
