Jolly floating weather

Balloonists enjoy the best of the bank holiday weather as they take to the skies over Durham yesterday. However, things were expected to take a turn for the worse as the Met Office issued a yellow warning for storms. Thunder and heavy rains were forecast to hit the South last night, reaching the North and Wales by midday. The Met Office also warned of the risk of flash floods, with up to 2in of rain in an hour in some parts.
