Foul play? Salmond hurt in penalty shoot-out

Alex Salmond has been playing through the pain barrier. Mr Salmond said he cracked a rib in Aberdeenshire. The former SNP leader, aiming to retain his seat in Gordon, said he suffered the injury after scoring at a penalty shootout stall at the Kintore Summer Festival. He explained: “It’s agony every time I try to cough, or laugh, or sneeze. Sneezing is the worst.”
