Diana (2013)

 Oliver Hirschbiegel’s biopic about Diana, Princess of Wales, is a special class of awful. On the plus side, it’s hysterical – and the cast milk every unintentional laugh. Naomi Watts is too hard-working an actress to botch her impersonation. The film explores the last two years of the princess’s life. It’s less a portrait than a hokey send-up, with every tic telegraphed, and head set to permanent tilt. Cas Anvar stars as Dodi Fayed.
